Enjoy all-natural skin balms. Restore your skin with the lush gifts of nature blended into these healing botanical balms. The healing properties of these ingredients are well documented but this is not just about health, this is about feeling fun, fabulous and beautiful inside and out.

With this in mind I create small batches of balms and massage candles with different scents and active ingredients from nature. Massage candles are a blend of soy wax and rejuvenating balm, infused oils and beeswax, perfect for super-hydrating the skin and soothing massage. They are available for sale on this site.
AROMATIC CANDLES
Light the wick and feel the senses ignite with the sight, savor the sensation of warmth on the skin while the aroma stirs memories and the imagination.
Try these small batches of candles handmade from natural waxes and oils, individually decorated and infused with beautiful scents to lift the environment, your external and inner being. Great for self-care, to brighten a room and complement meditation. The fragrances are free from harmful chemicals and most are certified natural.

It was the Ohakune Carrot Festival 2024 that awakened my candle passion. Among the local stalls were scented candles, so I bought a few. The next morning I lit one up as I sat to work through my morning meditation techniques. It was a surprise to feel my senses ignite with the candles. I have been in love ever since however, I hadn't thought to make candles myself until a client who bought a couple of my massage candles requested the aromatic candle versions as gifts for family and friends. Now I am hooked and you are welcome to share in my candle journey.
Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.
Community Yoga Classes & Massage
Yoga Time with Chevanne has community classes designed to make yoga-inspired well-being accessible to all. Promoting balance, strength and joint mobility with mindfulness. Massage Time is available to maintain health, promote inner balance and healing for both body and mind.
Mat classes
Yoga Gold: Wednesday 9.30 - 10.30am Walter Nash Stadium. Price $8-$10 / session
A class designed to be enjoyed by 60plus , beginners and those in recovery. We flow with Tai chi, stretch and strengthen with hatha yoga and enjoy breathing exercises and a short meditation. A friendly bunch who meet for coffee afterwards. School term only. Endorsed by Community Strength and Balance (CSB). Supported by Hutt City Council.
Seated Yoga
Seated Yoga: Thursday 1 pm, Moera House (usually in the cottage). Price KOHA/ session.
This is a class for all. We use the stability of the chair to support stretching and strengthening yoga poses and our flowing movements. It is fun for anybody, but if you are very stiff or unable to stand or move certain limbs, you will still enjoy this class. The benefits are often noticeable straight away. Come along and feel better. Endorsed by Community Strength and Balance (CSB). Supported by Moera House.
Massage Time
Massage Time: Monday and Tuesday 11am - 6pm. Price $85/hour * special pricing for 65 plus and Yoga Time club members, plus packages.
Embark on a transformative journey with a massage to soothe body and soul. Unknot your muscles, release energetic blockages, and reconnect with yourself. Take a healing break from the hustle of life. Full-body or natural rejuvenating facial massage techniques available, with or without natural oils and balms.
